DoseDial Terms of Use
By installing or using DoseDial you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What the app is for
DoseDial is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It shows reminders at the times set from the medication information the user enters, and keeps a record of the doses taken.
2. Not a medical device
DoseDial is not a medical device. The app does not:
- diagnose any condition,
- recommend, deliver or direct treatment,
- calculate or suggest doses,
- check for drug interactions or warn about them,
- assess in any way whether a medicine is suitable or safe for you.
The app does not replace your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional. Every decision about your medication (starting, stopping, changing a dose) belongs to your doctor. If you have a question about your health, consult a healthcare professional. In an emergency, call emergency services, not this app.
3. Accuracy of the information you enter
You enter all medication details, times and doses. Reminders are based on what you entered. Incorrect information produces an incorrect reminder, and that is the user’s responsibility.
The medicine list included in the app is a point-in-time copy of a publicly available official list, provided only to make filling in fields easier when a box is scanned. It is not guaranteed to be current, complete or correct. The information printed on the box and your doctor’s instructions take precedence.
4. Reliability of reminders
Reminders rely on Android’s alarm and notification system. A reminder may be delayed or not shown at all if:
- notification permission has not been granted,
- the phone is off, out of battery or restarting,
- battery saving, sleep mode or manufacturer restrictions have stopped the app,
- the app has been uninstalled or its data cleared,
- the operating system has terminated the app in the background.
Do not rely on this app as the only reminder for medication that is critical to your health. The app does not guarantee that a dose will be taken on time.
5. Your data
Your data is stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Backing up your data is the user’s responsibility. The developer cannot be held responsible for data lost through a lost or broken phone, an uninstall, or cleared app data.
6. Purchases
The app offers a single one-time “Plus” purchase. The transaction is handled through Google Play and refunds are subject to Google Play’s own rules.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, from a reminder not being shown or being delayed, from loss of data, or from incorrectly entered information.
This section does not affect rights granted to consumers by applicable law that cannot be limited by agreement.
8. Rules of use
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, redistribute or sell the app. Rights in the app’s name, interface and content belong to the developer.
9. Changes
These terms may change. If they do, the date above is updated and the new text is published at the same address. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
